KIM-1 as a Prognostic Marker in Renal Cell Carcinoma.

There is an unmet need for a noninvasive biomarker in renal cell carcinoma. KIM-1 has emerged as a compelling candidate according to retrospective evidence and post hoc analyses of prospective trials. Prospective studies are needed for validation and clinical implementation.
