Eleni Efstathiou discusses the history of research in the area of castration resistant prostate cancer and reviews where some of the question stand is this disease state.  These questions include how to efficiently target in this area and what are the important biomarkers that are being developed.  Also, presented is the question of genetic testing and if it should be offered to high risk disease patients and how this will affect early treatment choices.
