Siamak Daneshmand reviews the objectives of the Blue Light Cystoscopy with Cysview® flexible study, "Efficacy and Safety of Flexible BLC with Cysview in the Surveillance of Bladder Cancer". The main objective points discussed are whether or not flexible BLC cystoscopy resulted in increase detection of non-muscle invasive bladder cancer, particularly CIS and to see if repeat use of Cysview was safe in this setting. Additional topics highlighted included an overview of the study design, the outcome findings, key data from the study including the number of patients that were found to have recurrent bladder cancer.
